Yep

So from where I left off sunday followed much of the same suit. Went downtown, walked around. Went into an aquarium and saw where the Australian Open takes place. Pretty cool stuff. The next day we got on a train and rode an hour NW and got out at a cool town named Kyneton(pronounced Kie-ton) where the ranch manager(michelle) of the ranch we would be working at for the next two weeks picked us up. That day we settled into the coolest ranch house ever. A big 4 bedroom house all to ourselves. And we did all our own cooking as well. Gotta say I kinda miss it right now. The next day we started work and met Michelle and the bloke we'd be working with Tod down the rode at the stables. Everyday we would wake up around 7 and be there at 8. Help Michelle out with feeding the horses and then spend the rest of the day fencing with tod. We really hit the ground running. And by that I mean our first day of work after feeding the horses they told us we would be doing some fencing about 2k away. I drove the fork lift tractor, ben drove the atv, and tod drove the vintage post digger tractor. I probably should have taken it as a sign when I tried to start the tractor the first time the key broke off in the ignition. Luckily we got it out and got on the rode to the new bridge we were gonna fence around. 10 min later after doing a little offroading and driving the the forest we got to the bridge. (A small dirt bridge with two concrete pipes underneath for a creek) Before we crossed we were all distracted for a second when one of tods blue healers was messin around with a sick roo. In my confident state of tractor driving I decided I was a little to far on the left and turned right only to find myself going more to the left and down. So, naturally, a slammed on the breaks and put on the e-brake to open the door to find not only did I get the tractor stuck but tear up the new bridge. It was now a mud bridge because the day before it had rained all day :/ basically it was just one of those days. Later we got it out and went about our business of fencing. And that was day 1.

Mars Bars

Mars Bars are the most popular candy bar down under it seems. The Mars Bar is a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars Inc. It was first manufactured in Slough in the United Kingdom in 1932 as a sweeter version of the American Milky Way bar which Mars, Inc. produced in the USA (not to be confused with the European version of the Milky Way, which is a different confection). A different chocolate bar with the same name was sold in the USA until 2002. It contained plain nougat, almonds, caramel and milk chocolate. The UK 58 gram Mars Bar contains 259 calories equivalent to 13 % of an average adult suggested daily calorie intake.

ONYA!

Onya, literally meaning good on you or good day maybe? :/?. So we've been here over a week and we are still mega jet lagged. every day we have a contest to see who can make it past nine o'clock. Neither of us have won. We left the nasty hostel monday and are now at a really sweet ranch, which we'll upload pictures and talk about later. But first the remainder of the last weekend. Because our hostel was the worst place ever. Meaning smelly and grouse and weird people were in our room we chose to spend as much time as possible away from it. So Saturday morning we woke up around 7(with the help of time changes this was cake) and started walking down town. Walking rocks, never know what your gonna find. We walked along the beach which was cool. whatev. We found some new sweet sport where you stand on a huge surfboard like floating device and oar yourself across the water??? looked cool. We walked for a total of 6 hours, filled with really cool stops. First one being a memorial to the ausie veterans of WWI, The biggest Gym ever, A really cool park with lake in the middle and a half pipe, and other random coolnesses. At the end of the walk we ended up in federation square. Lots of cool stuff there. Including a Hungary Jacks, owned by burger king. We decided to save money and go there. Best Burger I've EVER HAD!!!!(because we had been walking for the past 6 HOUrs remember) We walked around fed square for a couple hours and saw what there was to see. In one of the random things that happened we were walking around what we thought was a museum but turned out to be our equivalent to ABC. While walking around we walked in room that that had 6 doors, 3 per side and all said theater and the number. We chose 5 and luckily got in to see the craziest film ever. It was filmed in Australia in an mostly Indian language but had english also? it was about thees 3 brothers who found a baby on there doorstep and tried to find out who the mother was by talking to all there previous girlfriends. We left at intermission for dinner and never found out the end. We ate at a cool mall place and after walked around a little bit more and saw comedians and street performers along the yarra river. Before we decided to go back to the hostel we decided to check out this ferris wheel sometime down the river walk. As we were walking suddenly we came upon HUNDERds of people walking down, naturally we decided to see what all the fuss was about and follow the crowd. best choice ever made. We ended up at a HUGe stadium. Without knowing what we were bout to see we bought tickets to an AFL Richmond vs. Essendon Australian FOOTBALL GAME! IT WAS AWESOME! During which there was a streaker. then we rode the tram back and went to bed. and that's saturday.

Huh?

Me"what is the hot breakfast?"Flight Attendant"Tea or coffee?" Me"No, no, no. What is the hot breakfast?" Flight Attendant"Tea or coffee?" Me "sure" . . . After ten hours of flying and two more to go nothing really matters. But it was an awesome flight over. After dinner and supper and 4th snack, playing every little game they had on the plane and watching Juno. You can't really go wrong. We traveled around 30 hours and finally reached out destination. Two stops, one in LA and one in Auckland. We arrived around 8 friday morning our time, Around 3 thursday afternoon Fort Worth time. Had a relaxed day. Jet Lag kicked in last night around 7 and I didn't wake up until 5 this morning. It's now almost 8. Sitting outside our hostel at grey st and barkly, trying to get a stupid prepaid phone to work. It's going into winter here so it's pretty chilly at night but during the day just fine.
